A historical house in Muscatine, Iowa, possibly one of the first built there. Judging by it's age it most likely was around when Mark Twain, ( Sanual Clemmings ) traveled the river. It's sad to see it's falling into dis-repair. If it's
not sold a manufactering company plans to raze it and use the lot for parking.

a fine old Edwardian, if not Victorian noble house - with such great potential, I think ... albeit expensive !!! would be a great B @ B or museum - my thoughts are nostalgic, and I like your image with this editing bringing out all the fine old details !!
    greetings, Adele

It would be sad to see it taken down fine architecture

memories of lives… the aura and personality of the house is strongly felt! can almost hear its planks and pillars tell creak out stories of the past. a shame if it fell victim to the wrecking ball! i bet the parking lot might turn into a very haunted place. take this in account, insurance company, before you decide to demolish it… ; ) greetings, sabine. p.s.: my favorite detail: the little ornamented roof terrace (?) at the very top!
