DIE ADRIA - ist das lang gestreckte nördliche Seitenbecken des Mittelmeeres, das nach der Stadt Adria in Italien (Provinz Rovigo) benannt ist. Zum Adriatischen Meer wird alles gerechnet, was nördlich der Straße von Otranto liegt. Es trennt die Apenninhalbinsel von der Balkanhalbinsel.
Anrainerstaaten sind Italien, Slowenien, Kroatien, Bosnien und Herzegowina (beim Ort Neum), Montenegro und Albanien

Durch die Abschirmung der Palmen wirkt dieses Gegenlichtfoto sehr filigran.

Hallo Friedl,
toller Blick - sehr schön gesehen und in Bild und Beschreibung festgehalten von Dir. Istrien habe ich vor Jahren besucht, war in Opatija und Pula; diese Küste hat ein durchaus gesundes Klima, wie auch unsere blaublütigen Vorfahren schon erkannt haben.
