Zarte Farben ohne Schatten bei Sossus Vlei kurz vor Sonnenaufgang. Die Farben der Duenen erscheinen ungewohnt in dieser Pastelfarbe aber sie sind unbearbeitet und waren wirklich so ohne dem starken Sonnenlicht.

Delicate colors without shadows just before sunrise in the Sossus Vlei area. The color might appear unusual but this is how they appeared without being exposed to the strong rays of the sun. There has been no "photoshopping" or changing of the original color.

wow, truly special, yes! the striking pastel pink caught my eye immediately, when scanning the new posts in your portfolio! can't take my eyes off it! it's not only the color that's so unusual; it's als the texture of the sand: to me it looks so soft, velvety and almost liquid. and the white rocks and "tufts" of vegetation – like some outlandish kind of mold… it makes the dunes look like cheese or exotic candy, and if it weren't for the two little trees and the familiarly colored sand in the foreground, i might have mistaken it all for some fantasy landscape existing on a distant planet… ; ) greetings, sabine.

Feiner Bildausschnitt mit annähernd schon graphisch-abstrakter Wirkung! Die beiden. in dieser unwirklich wirkenden Landschaft wie verloren wirkenden Bäume gefallen mir - neben den Farben - besonders gut!

Terrific shot presenting these awesome colours upon the massive dunes evident in the breaking morning.It's true that desert can give amazing images under atmospheric changes that are common and sudden and one such example is also the Arab Sinai desert with that magic rose colour in the early morning and sunset. Very beautiful picture Cathy.
