Kingfishers are small bright colored birds of the three families Alcedinidae (river kingfishers), Halcyonidae (tree kingfishers), and Cerylidae (water kingfishers). There are about 90 species of kingfisher. All have large heads, long, sharp, pointed bills, short legs, and stubby tails. They are found throughout the world.

Late this afternoon at 6 PM just finished dinner I noticed this little fella sitting on the Reed ( Cane ) from the Pampas grass in the backyard ....
Grabbed my camera and start shooting, low light conditions, so no sunny bright shots , hope to see him /her back soon again under better light conditions.....
I will keep an eye open , and everything is set up to shoot as soon she /he arrives..;-))
