Halloween was a glorious day - very windy, but so sunny. I spent a couple of hours in VanDusen Gardens before all the Autumn leaves are gone - will show you some of my favourites from this outing.

Beautiful autumnal colors offers VanDusen Gardens.
A nice view over the lake with his reflections and the ducks, who seem to enjoy the sunny weather too.

wow, the light is beautiful!! and so very powerful, too, making the sunkissed trees and shrubs keep their bright autumnal glow, even in the watery reflections!! over here we are having some strangely warm early-november days. the foliage on the trees ist mostly bright yellow but i took a quick walk through the old botanical garden yesterday (it's downtown), where they have japanese maples, and they are amazingly blood-red these days… hugs, sabine. p.s.: love the serene mood of the shot, which even the geese seem to enjoy! ; )
