Der lange Anstieg zum Anatolischen Plateau verlangte sorgfältige trassierte Bahnstrecken durch das schwierige Bergland der West-Türkei. Eine dieser Strecke verbindet Izmir mit Afyon, über Alasehir und Usak, wobei der interessanteste Abschnitt zwischen beiden letztgenannten Ortschaften liegt. 55 043 (preussische G10) und eine 56.5 (BR 52) mit Steifrahmentender passieren eine der vielen Stahlviadukten der Strecke.

The long climb to the Anatolian Plateau necessitated heavy engineering work and well-planned railway lines through difficult mountainous grounds. One of these lines is the Izmir to Usak section, that starts climbing at Alasehir.
55.043 (Prussian G10) and a former German 'Kriegslok' 56.5 are passing one of the many steel bridges of that line.
