Feine Farbkontraste! Und interessante Perspektive! Man muss schon hoch und runter scrollen. In einer gewissen (und nicht so anstrengenden) Weise ähnelt das dem Hoch- und Runtersteigen der Buche! ;-)

wow, that beech sure is high! and the smooth light-gray trunk is just beautiful! in factd, it's an almost meditative experience to let one's eyes turn into a nuthatch ; )) and follow this stairway to heaven up in order to find the best little bugs ever to lick up – as we all know the best goodies hide in the highest places*… ; )). when i spotted your image in the monthly-theme forum, i asked myself what song might go with it. my first guess was "you raise me up!" by josh groban. ; )))))))) but stairway to heaven is even better! that looong introductory tune at the beginning before the lyrics kick in – ah, wonderful! greetings, sabine. p.s.: just for the fun of it:

Wie man sieht lohnt sich öfter mal ein Blick in die Höhe. Der Baum wirkt einfach gigantisch aus dieser Perspektive, wunderbar wie er sich vom blauen Himmel abhebt.
