"It should be the eighth wonder of the world" (Homer Hudson)
"I feel comfortable under the sails, whose dreams are seen and believed" (Mackride Mountain)
"The Sydney Opera House is a place where ordinary people are inspired to feel extraordinary things." ( Adrian Collete)
I'm sure you loved it there. What is a visit to Sydney without seeing this magnificent building! A wonderful picture and I love the little image of the not so little bird flying above the cityscape

it's the strangest thing: the farther away you get from it the more beautiful it becomes, which is so typical of a great landmark! don't get too close, they might lose their allure. maybe that's what all the ant-like tourists in you picture are experiencing right now – a shattering of illusions! ; )) it happened to me, too, when i took a tour around the opera house and got "too close", from where it looked a little dull and shabby… but it does look magnificent seen from the syndey harbour bridge, where i assume your picture was taken, or from a ferry leaving the bay: the shabbiness disappears and it is transferred back into the spellbinding "oyster settlement" one originally fell in love with! ; )) hugs, sabine. p.s.: did you go for a walk in the beautiful botanical gardens, right in the back of the opera house? a parrot paradise… ; )))
plus, i really like frederick mann's one-word comment!! it really hits the nail on the head: "markant" is exactly what the building looks like in your shot!
Lo tradicional en Australia...una bella ciudad con muchos turistas todo el tiempo..es fascinante ver la ciudad en si,,su panoramica es fantastica..buen encuadre y color..genial nitidez saludos.
Interesting to see this exceptional monument in its particular architecture and look and study the structure and understand it better. Excellent your legend.
