Here I can forget society. Here I can hear myself thinking. There are no other photographers, there are no other people or political events. Here I am free. Here what someone thinks has no weight or reason. It is the end of the world.

never underestimate first thoughts… they often contain an essence. so, just in case, here's mine: "a new world stonehenge!" well, anyway:"when society is forgotten… the rocks rise up and found their own!" ; ) i was originally going to finish your sentence because all i could see was a giant and wildly anthropomorphic rock giving a radiant speech to the world! the radiance (in all possible senses of the word!) of the place and image is indeed amazing! greetings, sabine.
