Domestic Gypsy
She's Cleaning a chicken on her daughters bed.. The liver, gizzard and heart will go in the graves and bread for stuffing for this chicken dinner. There is no oven but outside in the back is a metal drum with wood in the bottom. The heat from the wood will be the fuel for cooking.. I got the feeling that we've never used our bed for cleaning a chicken, or pig and any scrip vegetables found from a garbage bin that have to be clean of bugs and worm which will crawl for cover in the blankets below.

Fantastic pic, Glenn, offering an acurate documentary of a common everyday schedule that has to be completed in whatever way....The exposure is excellent to exploit all possible light and give ample detail even in the darkest parts. The setting of the house fantastic! The expression on the womans face ackward,somewhat between a smile and a strenuous effort. Great pic!friendly alexander
