The Dhobi Ghat
Mumbai is a meca with many improvements, Man powered with little improvement. They live in the complex and about around. Here the take out laundry which seems so moderne is manually labored over. If this was a 1930 cartoon the power source would be two mice running in a cage to generate power to run the gigantic facility under the bosses desk for a pice of cheese.
Yet we must not over look that this system demands manpower which keeps its people employed but for very little money.
