Durch dieses kleine Selbstbau-Zubehör wird das Einbeinstativ vielseitig einsetzbar. Das Blech wird bei Bedarf einfach mit der Stativ-Bodenplatte verschraubt. Darauf kommt ein einfacher Kugelkopf. So kann das Einbein genutzt werden

a) schräg stehend an eine Wand oder ähnliches angelehnt

b) wie hier abgebildet als bodennahes Kurzstativ

Die Stütze wiegt nur etwa 50 Gramm und passt sicher noch in die Kameratasche.

An sich ist das ja keine schlechte Idee und auch relativ einfach umzusetzen, aber wäre etwas in der Richtung "Manfrotto 331" nicht sehr viel transportabler und flexibler?
