Franz Allers
Maestro Allers was born on this date 110 years ago.
This Ektachrome was taken during one of our many delightful conversations, this one in a cafe in Munich on a
May afternoon in 1984. He was in his 79th year, but the twinkle in his eyes was both timeless and contagious.
I'm honored to have known you, Maestro.
