All in a night's work...

Emergency professionals at work...

Fortunately, there was no fire, but these Fairfax County Fire and Rescue professionals were ready for any eventuality.

Remarkably, the driver of this overturned Durango as well as the driver of a smaller vehicle
that ran into the SUV at this busy West Springfield intersection were able to walk away.

The SUV will shortly be righted back on its wheels; it and the badly smashed compact will be
towed away, and the intersection will be cleared of accident debris and reopened to traffic.

Could have been worse.

    wo rohe kräfte sinnlos walten…
(a classic line turned idiom… from schiller's "song of the bell")
…and where spiderman's not available, your friendly neighborhood fire squad readily steps in. ; ) good to hear the drivers miraculously came out of this… calamity unharmed! always a disturbingly apocalyptic sight: a supposedly safe vehicle (speaking of "sport utility"… ; )) flipped on its side like a cumbersome beetle, rendered completely helpless! there's nothing quite as reassuring, though, as to watch a bunch of nonchalant firefighters casually overseeing the progress of righting up both the vehicle and the situation! ; ) a great interesting and eye-catching little series, steve! greetings, sabine.

It's not only a very good documentary, but also a great looking picture. Fine little series. Good, that nobody was hurt seriously.
    Have a good day.
