Fisherman's Daughter

This photo was taken in 2002 in the small fishers village called Hawston. Its situated about 100 km from Cape Town and 10 km from the whale capital of the world, Hermanus. They were complete strangers to me and I never thought of getting to know them until recently when I tried to trace them through a local newspaper. Great was my surprise to actually came in contact with them through family. She's now 13. We have a date today to meet again after so many years. I'll take some follow-up photos and upload them once ready. I made her a nice large framed copy as gift!
