i like the warm light on the old bricks! i like the powerful three-dimensional feel due to the point of view. i like the "sun-and-ocean glow" on the water – very appropriate for a maritime merchant town! ; ) but i don't know whether i like the "alienation" that much, the dystopian feel to the ancient warehouses, the hdr(?)-drama ; )) going on in the sky… this place, the speicherstadt, is photographed so much, that it's hard to really "feel" and recognize its authentic aura anymore, an aura that's gradually fading away anyway because of its closeness to steely, sterile hafencity… well, i guess i'm just a party-pooper waiting for that one speicherstadt picture that blows me away… ; )) greetings, sabine.
