Teufelskrallen (Phyteuma) bilden eine Gattung innerhalb der Familie der Glockenblumengewächse (Campanulaceae). Der Name Teufelskralle bezieht sich auf die Form der Einzelblüten. Der botanische Name stammt vom griechischen: Phyteuo = Pflanze.
