Photoshop processing:desaturated with channel mixer.No filters! (...for perfect fit with the subject and my favorite section.... "EMOTIONS")

Ok, what is wrong with this image?The left side is blurred - not in focus.
The background is not in focus and the people are barely in focus.
The background has a lot of noise and speckles.
The composition is ok.

for me there is too much editing that didn´t quite work out.for example the boots arent eaven sharp

The partly unsharpness of the boot, as Geoff mentions are cause by something unsharp un the foreground, some bushes maybe ?Even though the persons in the picture are not 100% sharp, i find that this picture in general gives a nice feel of place and people.

the non-focused parts of the image do not bother me because in that way you focus only on people. I like the composition and b/w.PRO!

@all those who criticize "sharpness, noise, speckles":In photography not everything is about the absolute perfect technical (!) image, rather than its composition, the mood an image reveals, the underlying story, the presentation (here in B&W). All of this can be seen in this photography and that was the reason I proposed it for the gallery.
Who cares about some noise if the picture if it's content is great ? Look back at some stunning photographs taken on film with ISO3200 B&W. Although having significant grain, they are more famous than many contemporary images.
Someone also mentioned the left side of the photo is out of focus ? WHAT ? YES, this is surely on purpose. This is excellent work with a very shallow use of DOF, leading you on it's main subjects.
I just felt a bit embarrassed by these technical comments. These days it is all reduced to that. Many many people forget the real thing ...
Just my 0.02$.
