yea, for me too, but goot theme

Emma Moore, 18.06.2006 at 15:56h

I like the idea, but I think it would have been a stronger image if you had used a really narrow depth of field so that some of the cigarettes were pin sharp, and then the others were really blurry.

indeed ... emma's right here ...

Jon Jon, 18.06.2006 at 17:36h

i wish i could, but my camera is shit and i wouldn't know how to do that....guess i will have to try again...better get started smoking

Roberto Grilli, 18.06.2006 at 23:44h

Jon,
the question is what do you like to say with this photo...?
smoking is good....
or smoking is terrible...?
What I see does not push me to buy them...but does not stop me to smoke....

Jon Jon, 18.06.2006 at 23:56h

what am i trying to say? a question that millions have pondered over for centuries....

Because i am a nice guy i wil let you in.... the photo is not atempting to say anything....it is meerly a portrayal of a lifestyle: a statement of urban youth.

Roberto Grilli, 19.06.2006 at 22:20h

Hi Jon,
thanks for your reply.
Your last sentence: "it is meerly a portrayal of a lifestyle: a statement of urban youth.", mean some message and you want to say something.
Sorry if I will go to your "mind".
I would take as the main focus of that photo (little bit more sharp) and add portrait of a young urban youth as a background. Transfer the photo to monochrome with noise.
It could come up as very interesting "social" photo.
What do you think?
Regards
Roberto
