Eco Park is only open for visitors during daylight hours over the weekends. However, I was recently given the key of the park by the park management making it possible for me to come and go as I please
Anlie and I had a interesting time taking this photograph. Trying to get the animals in the right place for a sunset shot was a mission. Anlie drove up and down the path trying to outsmart the ever moving animals. A soon as she stopped The animals would turn away leaving me with nothing. Eventually I got a few shots in
This is something new for me. I am always open to some constructive advice
An holy evening light, Deryck.
Think..I´ll do it not so good as you did!

PS: Maybe one trick I have for u..but this means
u have to do some photoshop after.
If u do the lightmeasurement on the zebra, it will be more bright. But than put a layer on the pic and make the backround darker in photoshop.
My eos 40d has a star-button to record the datas of the lightsensitivity.
You lucky guy : getting the key of Eco Park ! I'm jealous, you know......
Very special wildlife capture in this twilight. Not easy I know as I could experience myself with the 'Little Owl by night' shot.
The light on the zebra and grass is wonderful and warm.
It's a pity the lights in the background are burned out so much. Couldn't you avoid this by using another pov ?
This is a perfect picture, you could describe Africa perfectly, the warm sun, the animal enjoining it, the endless space... one of your best my friend.
Dana
Amazing shot with an excellent exposure and sharpness. Interesting to read about the difficulties you had to get them on the right spot.
Great to hear that you got the key to this wonderful place.... *envy*
This is one of the best photo`s I`ve seen on your site!
The zebra in perfect sharpness, the gras in front of the zebra and the mystic light=> Perfect!!
eine sensationelle Aufnahme bei der untergehenden Sonne, ich freue mich das Du einen Schlüssel bekommen hast und wünsche Dir für Deine Aufnahmen viel Glück und warte gespannt auf die Fotos. Dieses Zebra würde ich mir als Poster an die Wand hängen, Chareau - a sensational admission with the setting sun, I am glad this you a key has agreed and a lot of luck wishes you for your admissions and waits tensely for the photos. This zebra I would hang to me as a poster on the wall, Chareau
