Angkor Wat ist die größte und bekannteste Tempelanlage in der Region Angkor. Der Tempel befindet sich zirka 240 km nordwestlich der Hauptstadt Phnom Penh in der Nähe von Siem Reap, ca. 20 km nördlich des Sees Tonle Sap.
