i wasn't quite sure i grasped the title correctly, so i looked it up and found a short little essay on the expression, which i find very intereting – especially the last paragraph! your picture has both of those things: the twilight of course, the obvious "not being able to tell a dog from a wolf in it", but also the more ominous sub-sphere: a flock of black birds and some very dark town silhouettes, telling of potential disasters. well, maybe… ; ))http://www.nakedtranslations.com/en/2004/entre-chien-et-loup
