A beautiful picture book view - it is easy to forget what tragic things went on here, but I am sure it is staying in the minds of the people forever.A very picturesque panorama - well captured from this viewpoint.

…peacefully, i hope! what a beautiful and special looking place! a picturesque little town at on of "world's ends", it seems! the kayakers can paddle up to that hazy wall of rocky mountains up ahead, and that's it – u-turn and back! ; )) unless, of course the river keeps meandering through or along somewhere, finding a way just like life itself which goes on… love the reflections and the juxtaposition of bleached earthen colors with dark and shiny water and rich green trees! hugs, sabine.Mark Billiau., 7.09.2011 at 9:13h
