La noche quería amanecer en el Cairo, y yo la observaba desde la ventana
de mi habitación del hotel GRAND YATT, ella se iba y yo la capturé en este
momento único, antes de que lo hiciera...El CAIRO, capital de Egipto y la
mayor ciudad del mundo arabe en ÁFRICA...Fue fundada en el año 116 a.
C., lo que hoy se conoce como viejo Cairo. Los romanos reconstruyeron
una antigua fortaleza junto al NILO...Antes de su fundación, otras ciudades eran la capital del imperio faraónico...Hasta el 1952 el CAIRO no se convirtió en la capital...El CAIRO está ubicado en las riberas e islas del río NILO, al sur del delta...En el sudoeste se encuentra la ciudad de GIZA y
la antigua necrópolis de MENFIS con la meseta de GIZA y las monumentales Pirámides...El CAIRO es una ciudad cosmopolita y seductora, que te envuelve con su anarquía urbanística y su tráfico ruidoso,
infernal y caótico, pero con muchas cosas interesantes y atractivas para ver, como sus innumerables mézquitas, sus barrios, calles,con sus Zocos
y Museos que la hacen única en el mundo...Es una ciudad que te deja impresionado por su grandeza y exotismo de sus calles, con mercados llenos de olores colores y sabores, que se meten a través de los sentidos,
y que te hacen comprender al auténtico EGIPTO...La capital egipcia es una
enorme ciudad, sorprendente e increible, que hace que el viajero se sumerja en la cultura faraónica...Es una ciudad de las más contaminadas y superpobladas del mundo, que te cautiva con la inmensidad de las PIRÁMIDES y el NILO, EL RÍO DE LA VIDA...EL RÍO SAGRADO DE EGIPTO...
