Wednesdays is a big day for Karsiyaka….The villagers come to the market with fresh vegetables and fruits from their garden, home made cheese,butter, olives, anything you can think of….It is a great oppertunity for shopping…
I had the pleasure of being there today, with all these friendly people…. Hope you enjoy as much as I do :))))

A wonderful scene from the market. The women are well captured, and the surrounding abundance of veggies is fabulous (I can live on veggies alone, you see). We have Farmer's Markets all over Vancouver every day - inside halls and outside in the Spring.
