My memories of Yangon (Rangoon) are most definitely fond ones; I love that area of S/E Asia.
My visit was highlighted By FC member Nyo Pu, link provided for those interested
Nyo Pu
This gentleman entertained us whilst we were in his fair city and took us to a different restaurant each night.
The most impressive was the Karaweik Restaurant, it is so impassive, and we were entertained by traditional musicians and dancers while enjoying their local cuisine.
I must admit, that I love the cuisine of the Burmese, Malay and Indians above all the other countries around here.
My wishes are to return here in the future and travel with my mate Nyo to Mandalay, I am most interested to visit the white marble carved temple there.
I have seen an example of this marble work at the majestic Shwedagon Stupa, this is the finest carving I have viewed throughout Asia.
Please check some of the photos I am uploading for confirmation.

modern street photography at it's best. Composition and scene very well chosen, modern because so many "typical" street shots are b/w, I always wonder why.... Happy voting!Moderne streetfotografie vom Feinsten. Gute Bildkomposition und gut gewählte landestypische Szene. Ich sage bewusst modern weil so viele Streetfotos s/w sind. Dies hier zeigt dass das kein Muss ist. Fröhliches Voting!
