Oh my god!!! Finally some street photography that I strongly feel deserves the gallery!!! Give me a reason why not Robert!
Wonderful leading lines! Great exposure and love the streaking rain and blur on the lens! And great presentation! For crying out loud this deserves a place so much more than some of the other street crap thats been voted in!
Love it Dan, PRO!!!

Suggested at about the same time as this picture, yet receiving more then 40 comments of which most i suppose are positive. where apparently its too much trouble to look at real original photography by others.

Who can still deny that the voting has anything to do with buddies and friends.??

I am slowly getting sick to the bone, and find it very difficult to find any inspiration from FC anymore.

Please people, by all means do go on with puddling around in your own pools of selfcontent, but i hope you dont mind if i do not come along any longer.

This is so authentic, telling so much about living in our cities and so many little stories. I like this kind of street pics!

@ aw masry- If the rule of thirds is the only composition you know and look for, try picking up a book on basic photography!

I do not feel that this shot is Gallery. The white blob in the lower right hand corner, the bright spot between the buildings. I also think that one step to the left would have captured the people getting into the cab better. Since the framing around the picture is tilting to the right I assume that the street in the shot tilting right is an artistic touch.
Sorry Contra

I know exactly where you are coming fron Rudd, i also stopped viewing the Gallery for a short while for that same reason. Please continue as hard as it is, the FC will be a poorer place without your input !
As for this picture i skipped as i found the burnt out areas distracting. Shame it really is good otherwise.
But its all about different opinions in the end....Skip

Sorry to see it end up with these results. Just a reminder to everyone voting in the FC, once you voted a photograph of a woman's ass into the gallery as street & situation.
Whatever.
