This is another of the Gull pictures i did, i think the exposure is better than "I can read" but i'm not so sure it is as funny, would like to know what you all think as one hopefully will go into my portfolio for college! Thanks to everyone, for your coments, it really does help me, sometimes things i would never have thought of.

I think your comment is spot on Donna, the exposure is better on this one but the other is funnier.

Stu is right the exposure is great on this one. can you not tweek the other in photoshop to bring out the contrast a bit more. Its a shame not to get the best out of a great photo.

This picture has the best photographic quality of the two and is maybe worthy of your college portfolio. Imho college's usually look for strong communcation though a picture as much as the photographic technique. So your choice.

I like this image as well and maybe better than the "I Can Read" image. This has good composition which is also simpler than the other image and the colors are quite pleasing.

The large white area at the lower left is a bit distracting, however.
