Tumbes es la capital del departamento más al norte del Perú, por el oeste. Su plaza principal, donde se encuentra esta catedral, está muy cerca del Río Tumbes, uno de los más importantes de la costa peruana.

Que buen motivo para visitar Tumbes .. que colorida la catedral !!, sabemos que no es muy comun encontrar esos estilos en otras catedrales del pais verdad?
