What vivid memories your beautiful pictures from Petra recompose in my mind Adele! And what a painful reminder are for all of us that many past civilizations that once thrived in world's history were destined to be destroyed and dissapeared leaving just traces behind them....But, most important, what a bitterness to think that even these precious remnants are getting somewhere destroyed, in our time, by some profane hands in the name of God!! Hoffentlich werden nicht diese Wunder auch noch eines Tages zerstört.Für die Einheimischen scheint es nicht zu heiß zu sein, denn ich sehe hier auch Männer, die nicht gerade leicht bekleidet sind. Heiß ist offenbar nur den Touristen:-))).
