Good Night, Venice ...
and good-bye ....
leaving on our ship bound for a 28 day cruise to Singapore, we passed the beautiful Santa Maria della Salute church in the dark ... 10 years ago my daughters and I dangled our feet in the water in front of this church - time goes too fast !!

Santa Maria and the old custom's office at the tip of the Dorsoduro is my favorite sight of Venice - and isn't it wonderful, illuminted against the evening sky ? I guess it is.Jost
