In a Chinese Mall (2)

after cycling in Richmond we stopped here for lunch and discovered that every store in the mall is Chinese - this store was next to the restaurant .
I took three photos from my chair ... will show you the results and glimpse into a Chinese world far away from the motherland ..

…"a world far away from the motherland", a 'counterculture' without the rebellious ring to it, an island of familiarity, a home in a nutshell, reduced to its "the basics" and thus probably just as "intense" as life abroad often surprises one by making him suddenly long for the silliest little items connected with one's home country, items that one never even thought he'd miss at all… me, for example, i turned into an ardent lover of süßlakritz when living in the states, where licorice was… something else entirely! ; )) a great eye-opening little series, adele! and i love this shot most of all because of the peace and serenity radiating from the vendor in her little window, while above her history is… being history! ; ) hugs, sabine.

not only the restaurants in shopping malls, but also the many bars and restaurants in the center of Venice! the yellow invasion ...... and did not stop there! nothing to say against, but traditions die ....

those Chinese shops are always interesting - there is so much in it - you always think the shop should be as double as big
