On the Road to Cairo
in the middle of nowhere a new development, so stark ... a lonely man, a large sign ... strange to see and I had to react fast taking this through the window of the bus.
we travelled from Port Saiid to Cairo in a convoy of 10 busses accompanied by police to get through traffic and to be safe .... and we were !!

Excellent scene showing the contrasts in the area. Lots of new construction but landscaping is not important. Composition with the man, sign and buildings is excellent.Regards,

Terrific shot,excellent documentary full of simbolism and sensitivity..The human figure not only lonely but appearing also perplexed obliged to live, most probably, in this inhuman complex in the middle of nowhere searching for the green of a tree leaf only in,,,book pages! Great shot, Adele, I think it would send the message better in monochrome..best regards alexander
