from the apartment - across the street and beach and Burrard Inlet ....
I find the strip of water on the diagonal somewhat awkward, but the Inlet gets narrow here as it goes towards the Burrard Bridge and Granville Island ...... any ideas ???
A shooting point that highlights large areas.
Also the transverse cutting gives this sense.
Magnificent shot.
You want to dive into the green as well as in the sea
Hello Iole
A subtle view of the beach.
The long shadows of the trees on the lawn are especially beautiful.
The apartment is so close to the beach. That's good, just a few steps to the water.
hugs

oh!! so the appartment is in vancouver?! when i clicked myself in the "for rent" shot, i thought i was somewhere down in florida – ignorant me! should have known there's palm trees all over the world – even in front of hamburg's alsterpavillon, and despite all our rain, we are as far from being tropical as possible… ; )) oh, and are you going to rent this place, adele? this view in particular is so beautiful! the "log beach" one of my favorite "adele's-vancouver photo places" so far! my favorite detail (apart from the long, graceful shadows cast by the three trees) is the ant-like couple sharing both a log bench and an ocean view! ; )) hugs, sabine. p.s.: yes, the diagonal line separating the sand from the water does look a little strange, rendering the beach somewhat crooked. but i don't have any suggestion how to do it differently… maybe you need to move in, settle on the balcony and take a whole series of shots until you know… ; )))))
I like the way you did this. The triangular strip doesn't bother me because of the detail you have managed to retain there. It is offset beautifully with the long shadows on the lawn
