Vancouver Living ... Looking at "The Lions"
The reason for the name for these Vancouver mountains is evident with a bit of imagination. They often have snow until mid-year and are not skiable.
They are quite far away, but the power of the telephoto lens brought them close...... still, they are high enough to be visable from many spots in town.

Very nice set up shot of the twin apartment blocks with the "Lions" in the middle. The mountains look enormous, especially if they are visible from many areas in the town.Sally
