I took this at Trout Lake which is very close to where I live. I love all the Willows there and the Himalayan White Birches in the foreground.

@ no fish in the lake, Frederick, just lots of water fowl. The dogs swim on one end - kids on the other.@ to all: these Himalayan birches are not native to BC and I only know of these at Trout Lake and some in VanDusen Gardens. They get their leaves late. Other birches are long green.
