Picture taken with a Panasonic Lumix LX3 at the bus stop where I set off to work every morning with a reference to Leonid's picture "Another one bites the dust" .

I carry a compact camera with me every day but it's actually not that often that I find something that calls for my attention on the way to and back home from work. This is an exception. It might sound weird but this beer can cried out for being immortified.

The raw file was converted with Camera Raw and edited with Capture NX2 and Color Efex Pro.

like the "mock-commercial style" of the shot a lot! it's in fact both very glamorous and strangely sterile looking to me – like many adds are, too, i think! and the snow seems to have consciously layed hands on the scene, too, and arranged the beer can like a stage designer ; ))! wouldn't have needed the explanation of motives, though – it's a little tautologous to me, for what's being said is all in the powerful shot itself! kind regards, sabine.

Perfect compo and excellent post-processing to bring out the textures to the best advantage.. I am also happy that my humble picture gave you some inspiration for this beautiful shot..
