The Yellow Brain is a greasy and slimy fungus with an irregular shaped fruiting body.
Grows only in crevices on dead bark parts from different kinds of deciduous trees.

This fungus can be found all year round, but mainly in late autumn and winter.

A beautiful appearance in the dark forest !
