Castle ‘Ryckevelde’ at Sijsele (Belgium)
Originally there was a fortified farm on this spot, with 1487 as oldest year mentioned.
This neo-gothic castle itself is fairly recent and therefore in a pretty good shape.
The construction started in 1913 but because of World War I, it took until 1923 until it was finished.
It was the country retreat of a very wealthy baron.
