Moorhen chick
This fluffy little Moorhen chick is so feathery that it can walk easily on top of floating leaves.
Moorhens are typical wetland birds, breeding mostly in well vegetated waters, as can be seen in my shot.
Dutch name : Waterhoen (kuiken)
German name : Teichralle (Küken)
Latin name : Gallinula chloropus
