The Fungi World (247) : Amethyst Deceiver
The Amethyst Deceiver is a small fungus with a cap and stem that fades from blue-violet to grey-brownish with aging.
Its striking colour and flattering appearance makes him the 'glamour boy' among the fungi.
This species usually grows in the most dark forests and can be found from late summer to early winter.
Dutch name : Amethistzwam
German name : Violetter Lacktrichterling
Latin name : Laccaria amethystea
