The Living Forest (263) : Large Skipper
The Large Skipper is a butterfly that isn't spotted very often and can be found anywhere where wild grasses are allowed to grow tall.
He has a distinct liking for blackberry blossoms and thistles.
It’s, although called ‘Large’, a relatively small butterfly, but a very active one.
Unfortunately, it stands on the Red List of threatened species !

Latin name : Ochlodes sylvanus
