Late autumn. It’s getting gradually darker and colder in the forest, but there are still fungi growing there.
The party ain’t over yet !

The Branching Oyster is a funnel shaped fungus becoming wavy with aging.
Its soft and fragile fruiting body has a smell of flour.

Can be found from spring to autumn, mostly under elms.

Unfortunately, this striking fungus stands on the Red List of vulnerable and threatened species !

German name : Rillstieliger Seitling
Latin name : Pleurotus cornucopiae
