Persian Speedwell (also known as Birdeye Speedwell) is a plant species originating in the west of Asia but has been spread over the whole northern hemisphere during the last centuries.
As of april these tiny sky-blue flowers (only 8-10mm wide) are a refreshing appearance in grasslands and bright forests.
Dutch name : Grote Ereprijs
German name : Persischer Ehrenpreis
Latin name : Veronica persica
so light and dainty and springlike looking, that they make a great natural mood elevator after a long flowerless winter! ; )) and you captured them in such beautiful tender light… – i'm really in the mood for spring now!! ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: what came first the persian speedwell or the blue butterfly? ; ))))
wenn man den Wald so mit offenen Augen durchstreift wie Du Mark, dann ist das Leben schön, herrlich die Blüten, die Du entdeckt und fotografiert hast
