This fungus can cause severe root and trunk rot resulting in a stem break of the host tree.
Once again, there exists no english name for this species.

    Die Perspektive von oben nach unten finde ich sehr gelungen, und sie zeigt zudem sehr gut den pyramidenförmigen Aufbau des Baumpilzes.
