The Living Forest (1) : water

Back home again from holiday after exploring several forests in the Belgian Ardennes.
This is the 1st. picture of a series illustrating the living forest.

Water is a very important and essential basic element in the forest. It is indispensable for all living creatures : plants, trees, flowers, fungi, animals,… At the same time, the human visitor can enjoy its admirable and picturesque beauty.

    Sehr schöne Landschaft....rundum harmonisch

Das ist eine gute Belichtung. Dei Fließgeschwindigkeit des Wassers ist deutlich zu erkennen. Solche Bilder werden bei mir meistens zu dunkel.

Nice picture. I'd use a longer exposure to get "milky" water. It would make image more mysterious.

    Mark is back!!
First..., many thanks for your very appreciated comments on my photos.
Second..., your photo is great. I nearly can feel the freshness of the forest, smell the trees and hear the plash of the small creek.
