2005 was my first-try at taking some photos of
'the world's toughest sled-dog race', the yukon quest,
and my efforts were flawed technically.
but this picture will always be a favourite of mine ...
despite my slowness with the shutter button,
wilbur's eyes leave no doubt that he's doing the thing he loves to do,
and his mates -
including two-time-quest-winner
john schandelmeier from paxson alaska -
are more than happy to follow and share the spoils ...

thanks from the heart to zoya for introducing me to the crazy dog kennels team -
a truly great! team-and-family -
and to all the team for letting me wander around with my camera.
some day i hope to take
some much better photographs ... ;-)))
