IMHO:Farbenveränderung, hohes Kontrast, betonte Falten, ausgesprochene Schärfe, wo sie hingehören. Hier sieht man das sogenannte Dragan Effekt. Ich werde immer für die Bearbeitung vom Bilde selbst geführt.

IMHO:Color alteration, high contrast, accentuated wrinkles, where they belong. Here is the well known Dragan effect applied. The image implies the process.

Fast überscharf ist das Foto, aber ich empfinde das als Stilmittel, denn auf diese Weise sieht man das ins Gesicht gegrabene Leben besonders deutlich.
Das ist keine Abbildung, sondern eine Interpretation der Person, die du gesehen hast...

Format gefällt mir nicht. Mehr Platz auf der rechten Seite wäre denk ich besser. Sonst aber sehr fein.

klasse, tolles foto... den anschnitt verträgts auch... mit meines erachtens einer ausnahme... das kinn hätt unbedingt komplett sein müssen...

Ich könnte mir auch vorstellen, dass das Bild in s/w noch besser sein könnte, vor allem wenn die Kontraste noch etwas verstärkt werden.

Gefällt mir, weil hier Charakter deutlich wird.Die Schärfe liegt dort , wo sie hingehört, gut geschnitten und durchgezeichnet. Ein prima foto. Gratulation.

wieder mal ein klasse Portrait. Die Schärfe und der Bildausschnitt gefällt mir. Die Härte seines Lebens spiegelt sich in seinem Gesicht wieder und das hast du gut transportiert.

Normalerweise bin ich ein Befürworter von s/w bei Portraits aber hier sehe ich es ganz anders.
Hier stimmt einfach alles an diesem Bild...Licht,Perspektive,Bildauschnitt!

I feel the need to wright this down here and not to a QM, and i won't be prejudiced.
Wonderful photo dear sir, honestly i don't know about the Dragan effect (i know you explain alot above but still i migh ask you the exact proceedure), but it's result is smashing.
The portrait looks so alive and kicking that you can almost touch the old fellow through the screen. I just wonder if the BW conversion should do the job even more dramatic.

Überwältigender erster Eindruck, irritierende Schärfe und ganz ungewöhnlicher Schnitt: aber das Bild brauchts! Und erst dachte ich auch SW wär besser, habs versucht und muß zugeben: so wie es ist passt es einfach!
Sehr beeindruckend, habe es lange angeschaut...

Tolles Gesicht... Er sieht aus als könnte er ein viele tolle Geschichten erzählen. Aber in seinen Blick trägt er auch sehr viel Sorge und Trauer mit sich... empfinde ich jedenfalls so, wenn ich das Foto sehe.
Und nur ein sehr gutes Foto löst in mir Emotionen aus! +++TOP+++
