Die Kirche der Abtei St. Hildegard nahe bei Rüdesheim/Rhein wurde in den Jahren 1900-1908 errichtet.
Die Website des Klosters sagt dazu u.a.:
Betritt man den Kirchenraum, so umfängt den Besucher eine ganz eigene, zur Besinnung einladende Atmosphäre. Der hohe, gleichmäßig und in ruhigen Linien gestaltete Raum zieht den Betrachter in seinen Bann, ebenso aber auch die gedämpfte, stille, geheimnisvoll anmutende Farbigkeit der Wandgemälde.

Ich war auch in der Abtei und habe die Ruhe dort sehr geniessen können!!
