Das Bild ist im Grand Teton N.P. gemacht worden auf der Durchfahrt zum Yellowstone N.P. Ich hatte die ganze Nacht steurn müssen ( von Denver aus ) um es rechtzeitig zum Sonnenaufgang zu schaffen. Lange Zeit sah es danach aus meine Kameraausrüstung zusammenzupacken und wieder zu fahren, aber auch dieses mal hatte ich sehr viel Glück und konnte so den Sonnenaufgang genießen.
Das Bild wurde vom "Snake River Overlook" aus gemacht. Auf dem Bild, von der Sonne erleuchtet , sieht man v.l. den Middle Teton (3902m) , Grand Teton (4197m) und den Mount Owen (3940m).

Canon Eos 10D / EF 17-40 4L USM @ 40mm
0,5 sec @ Blende 13 / ISO 100 / Stativ / Cokin P121
